The Pachmayr Signature Model was the top-of-the-line pistol offered by Pachmayr Gun Works, the pistol Frank Pachmayr said “had it all.” It was a bullseye pistol and included Frank’s patented Messerschmidt-style barrel bushing, better known as a spherical bushing. The underside of the dustcover is fitted with another Pachmayr patent, his “slide tightener.”  The Colt National Match barrel swings on a Pachmayr “wide link” (another patent). The pistol is full hard chrome, chambered in .45 ACP, with a squared and checkered trigger guard, Commander hammer, beveled mag well and Pachmayr wrap-around rubber grips.  The Signature Model is the pistol Frank considered his very best.
