$10,119.00
  1. Manufacturer: Colt

  2. Caliber: .45 ACP

  3. Model/Size: CCO (Officer Frame/Commander Slide)

  4. Finish: Blued

  5. Condition: Pre-Owned

  6. Box/Papers: No

Ted Yost began his rise in the 1911 custom pistol world as director of the Gunsmithy at Col. Jeff Cooper’s Gunsite shooting school where he supervised a team of gunsmiths making Gunsite Service Pistols (see an additional listing of a Yost-era GSP). When Ted left in the early 2000s, he mentored his brother-in-law Lou Bonitz and produced some custom 1911s under the Yost-Bonitz moniker. Ted and Lou separated in 2007, Lou forming Grizzly Custom and Ted later starting Estate Sporting Limited. This CCO (Officers Model frame with Commander slide) is a Yost-Bonitz collaboration. It is built on a lightweight frame with a Caspian slide. The grips were made by Ted and it’s safe to assume all the hand cut checkering came from the master as well. With Ted’s builds from Estate Sporting having appreciated significantly since his retirement, this Yost-Bonitz is a value proposition for what is a predominantly Yost-built custom CCO.  Ships 2nd Day FedEx with gun rug and (1) Wilson mag.
