Steve Nastoff was another of the great 1911 pistolsmiths who was an IPSC competition shooter. “Nasty’s” as his guns were called earned a reputation for high-quality hand craftsmanship from a one-man shop and an innovative approach. His swaged mag funnel, oval Commander hammer, French bordered slide and SuperComp compensators were signature features of a gun from Nastoff’s .45 Shop. Here is a rare Nastoff custom 2011 built on an SV frame and slide with special order serial number “CQBCOMMANDER”, Bar Sto barrel, Heinie fixed rear sight and “de-horned” edges. (4) .45 ACP 11rd. magazines are included in this Nastoff high-capacity carry pistol, one of very few he made.
